WHAT PEOPLE SAY

This was by far one of our favorite parts during our time here at Iceland.

Lisa, our tour guide was a down to earth exciting person to have guided us in this buggy experience. I was terrified but she definitely assured any worries I had. I will preface with this, if you listen to the rules and listen to the guide the better the experience you will have and the faster the speeds you may go. We had some unfortunate poor souls who did not listen which affected our experience but Lisa did end up making it even more wonderful towards the end.

You may think you are going too fast but you do need to just understand that these are made for off road so do not be afraid to let the vehicle do what it’s suppose to do.

Overall this was amazing and we got to see the geothermal pipes and the lava field which hearing the history behind was also quite interesting. Especially since the guides see environmental differences almost on a daily basis. Would def do this again.

What a great and adventure filled family experience! Everything was very well done from the start. Safari Quads figured out a way to accommodate our family of 5 with only a few days notice. They also called to confirm and made sure we knew where to meet the group a day before.

Once we arrived everyone helped us with our safety and warm weather, rain gear. Thank goodness for all this gear because it rained most of our trip, but we stayed dry.

Sir Kaktuz was a fun and engaging guide. We traveled up and down mountains, through water, and over moon like rocks.

We felt safe and very prepared to go on the ATV by the excellent guide, Sircactus and the team at Safari. The tour itself was amazing and very conveniently located to the facility we left from. It was incredible to see breathtaking views minutes away from the facility. We felt safe and also like we were having an incredible and unique adventure. These photos will be a treasure for a lifetime. Thank you so much to our amazing guide!!

This was absolutely the highlight of our trip, and I wish it was our first day instead of our last so we had time to go again!! Marina was our guide, she kept a great pace for the group while still making sure everyone was together and safe. Amazing views. A couple photo stops along the route with information. Would and will go again!

Company provides warm suit for over your clothes and gloves. Wear hiking or waterproof boots for a couple puddles. Bring sunglasses, even if it isn’t sunny.

Thanks for the Tour again. If ur in for an adventure do it u will not regret it trust me.
12/10 would do it again.

Such a fun tour and a very different et way to see the countryside around Reykjavik. When the tour says 2 hours, it means 2 hours out on the bike, gearing up and safety lessons are outside this time which was an unexpected bonus. The guide was friendly and helpful and they keep the group together without rushing anyone. Most of the tour was off road which i loved. 10/10 would do again if I ever go back to Iceland.

Our snowmobile tours take place in Langjökull glacier. We have 3 different base camps we use depending on the amount of snow and ice.

Our main base camp is in Geldingafell and you need a modified 4×4 car to get there from Gullfoss.

Langjökull glacier is the second largest glacier in Europe with an area of more than 900km2. It is located on the west part of the Highlands of Iceland and its deepest point is around 580m.

The age limit for snowmobile tour is 6 years old. The age limit to operate a snowmobile is 18 years old and a fully valid driver's license is needed as well.

Children and those who don't hold a driver's license are welcome to ride as passangers

Our regular snowmobile tours last 1 hour. We divide this period in 20-25 minutes driving, a 10ish minute stop and another 20-25 minutes driving back to the base camp.

Sometimes it is hard to calculate the exact time and the guide is the one deciding when and where the stop is going to take place.

The number of guides depends on the amount of snowmobiles and weather conditions. On average we try to have one guide per 8 snowmobiles. This number can increase in foggy conditions or decrease in really good visibility.

Safety is our main priority and we don’t spare resources. All our snowmobiles have a GPS tracker and our guides take good care of no one getting apart from the group.

Yes. We can personalize every kind of tour making it private. We can offer from single private tours, to longer tours or even multi day snowmobile tours.

We can customize the tour however you want and we also offer this option for special projects like music videosmagazinesads recording, etc.

Contact us and we will arrange and prepare everything for you.

Yes you can!

However, the snowmobilis don’t have a designed area to place the backpacks and it can get a little bit uncomfortable.

We will recommend you to leave it in the vehicle you used to get up to the base camp.

You are allowed to take these things on the tour but we are only going to make a 10 minutes stop where you are going to be able to use them.

We don’t recommend taking these items with you and we are not responsible in any case of any loss or damage to them during the tour.

If you want to take special photos or videos we would advise you to book a private tour. You can contact us  asking for the kind of experience you are searching for and we will arrange it for you.

Yes.

Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all tours. Reservations help us determine the number of guides we need to ensure that our groups remain manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the tour due to weather or anything that could disturb the tours.
